‘Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”’ These words from our Gospel reading for today remind us that we walk the path of the Passion of the Lord in the light of the Resurrection, and that it is a path of light and life as well as of suffering.

May we truly lay hold on this Light, and Life, knowing that our Lord is truly the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him.
