Here is the beginning of today’s Gospel reading: ‘He went on his way through towns and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. And someone said to him, “Lord, will those who are saved be few?” And he said to them, “Strive to enter by the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able”’.

Our Lord is journeying towards Jerusalem – that is, towards His suffering and death, which will be accomplished there. He has His own ‘narrow door’ to enter, and He does it willingly and gladly.

May we imitate Him, in our own walk in life, that we may enter eternal life, and find joy and peace.

May God bless you this day.
