This fox, appears fast asleep, but has one ear cocked, to pick up the slightest sound … so it should be with us: ready and waiting for the slightest word from our Lord, as He speaks to us in the Liturgy and in all the details of our lives, even the smallest ones.

As the Psalmist sings: ‘I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning’.

May God bless you in your prayer journey, that you may persevere, and yet rest in the Lord, and may He draw close to you.
