From today’s Gospel: ‘On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”’
In these times, we know rather too much about closed and locked doors. Here we see that the Risen Lord passes through them all. He breathes His breath of love into our homes and hearts as He says to us, as He said to the disciples, ‘Peace be with you’.
May you know His peace, the peace that passes all understanding, this day and always, and may He bless you specially.
