‘He is such a fast / God, always before us and / leaving as we arrive’. So wrote the Welsh Anglican poet, R S Thomas. In the Resurrection, Jesus is certainly always ahead of us, always before us – ‘I go before you into Galilee’.

As we savour these days of the Resurrection of the Lord, let us not be afraid that He will leave us behind. He surely gathers us up as He goes, making sure that not one of us is lost. May God bless you this day.
