Here, for today, is part of the Easter Sequence, which may be sung in these days: ‘Christians, to the Paschal Victim, Offer your thankful praises! A Lamb the sheep hath ransomed: Christ, by sin undefiled, Reconcileth sinners to the Father; Death and life in a conflict, sore and wondrous contended: The Prince of Life, who died, Deathless reigneth. Speak Mary, declaring, what thou sawest wayfaring: “I saw the tomb of the living, And likewise the glory of the risen; Bright angels attesting, The shroud and napkin resting. Yea, Christ my hope is arisen: To Galilee will He go before you.”

May we rejoice today in our risen hope, Christ, and may He bless you this day.
