On this day in 2013, we arrived here in Kingstanding! It was and is also our dear Mother’s Profession Anniversary, the Memoria of St Monica, and so we pray for her, giving thanks for her leadership and for the many blessings that have come to us through her.

St Monica was one of the greatest intercessors of all time, praying ceaselessly for her son Augustine’s conversion. After his conversion she said: ‘Son, nothing in this world now affords me delight. I do not know what there is now for me to do or why I am still here, all my hopes in this world being now fulfilled’.

May St Monica pray for us too, that all our hopes may be fulfilled in the will of God, and may God bless you this day.
