Christianity was introduced into Korea from the seventeenth century, and from the very beginning there was persecution of those who had made the decision to follow Christ. St Andrew Kim was the very first Korean Priest, and St Paul Chong was a lay apostle. Over the years there were many bishops, priests, deacons and laity, all of whose witness can inspire our own today.
