Here is part of our Old Testament reading, from Romans: ‘What then shall we say about Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.”’

God is the God of the impossible, it is said. So today, in anything that may seem to us to be impossible, let us believe and trust in God, who made us and loves us. May He bless us abundantly in so doing, and be close to us at all times.
