The title of the image of Our Lady shown below is the ‘Advocata’. This title comes in the Salve Regina, traditionally sung each night after Compline. ‘Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us …’ The original icon is hidden away in a Convent in Rome.
