This thirteenth century Franciscan was known as the ‘Seraphic Doctor’ for his writings on mystical theology.
He said: ‘When we pray, the voice of the heart must be heard, more than the proceedings from the mouth’.
May our words in prayer indeed issue from our heart, and may our heart express itself most fully, by whatever means; and may God bless you this day.
