Normally, it would have been the Memoria of St Clare today, but the Sunday has, of course, taken precedence. However, it seems good to quote from her writings today. She wrote: ‘May the Lord always be with you and may you always be with Him. We are to become vessels of God’s compassionate love for others’.

On this Sunday, may we indeed become ‘vessels of God’s compassionate love’ poured out for others. May St Clare pray for us, and may God bless you abundantly.
