Today’s ‘O’ Antiphon title means ‘The Lord’, the unpronounceable Name of God. The antiphon itself refers to Moses and the burning Bush, when God revealed His most holy Name to him out of the heart of the fire. The prayer is ‘Come’, the cry intensifying with each day that passes.
