St John is the Beloved Disciple, who leaned upon the Lord’s breast at the Last Supper, and who lived a long life, having reflected all his days on the events of the life, death and resurrection of his Lord.

May St John pray for us, that we, too, may become ‘beloved disciples’, reflecting on God’s ways, as He leads us; and may He bless you this day.
