Today we remember the angels assigned to each one of us personally, to guide and protect us throughout our lives, until our death.

Jesus said, when He had called a child to Himself: ‘See that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I tell you that in heaven their angels always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 18:10)

Here is a classic prayer to our guardian angel, which you may like to pray today: ‘Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God’s love commits me here, ever this day, be at my side, to light and guard, rule and guide.’
